BIOGRAPHY

I have been interested in popular culture and music, protest and survival, for as long as I can remember. I began writing about things, making music and other noise from an early age. I have interviewed musicians, writers, poets, protestors and artists. Some are on this website. Some of my past & current work include; protestor, refuse collector, tour manager, co-running workshops on music and movement, musician, shop work, punk, student, driver, general builder, brick-layer, managing an Elvis Presley impersonator, squatter, user involvement worker, sound system hire, media/PR work, creative writing & poetry. I am Music Editor here on The Brink.

Last count I have moved on average every 10 months but only ever owned 1 tent. I am always interested in collaborating on writing/multi media/sound projects.

I/we have an ongoing 10 year+ collaboration with Dug Degnin. We splash the tiles and write plays/articles/short films/music/interviews and tell it how we smell it.........please contact Dug or me for more info or to hire us. All my work is a Privet & Boakes Production. No bullshit # DIY ethics.
