Saturday, November 15, 2008Saturday 15th November 2008Woke up in a very relaxed mood, quite a dramatic scene from the sea I can observe from my bed without lifting me head. Razors of golden light split the steely blue English Channel, gazed for a while and noticed some missed calls... more

Thursday, November 13, 2008On the way back from lunch with today, I bumped into a man who I had helped sometime ago when I worked in addiction. I didn't recognise him which was a little embarrassing but all became clear as he thanked me for the work we did together. He was... more

Friday, October 24, 2008Luckily I have a place I can go to in Devon where I can re-set my Dials, you know, when City living is drilling small holes in your thalamus and enabling core fight or flight. I can disapear and isolate in a splendid gaff which overlooks miles of... more
Having submitted work to The Brink for some years now under different pen names I have managed to whittle down the either or section to Gibson, Coke, Beef, Panties and Bukowski. It's made my life simpler.
Spent twenty years commuting to and from London, money excellent, do whatever you wanted to do lifestyle, perfect English cottage, three cars, office complex in the houes, Ex Pat living in Sweden, two children then back to London for the 90's. Recession, Addiction, Psychiatric Ward, Burnout, Breakdown, no possesions any more which is freedom, estranged family.
Started the rebuild in 1993, gave up the booze and discovered I was actually enjoying life. Although divorced spent more time with my children and started working with Homeless addicts and male sexual abuse victims.
I now write about those experiences and work sometimes as a lecturer for Sussex University educating Mental Health Nurses and GP's.
Musical collaborations are essential to my well being, working with Beachy Head Music Club and Paul Hawkins, gives me the bi polar diversity which feeds the need.
It was as it was now it is as it is.
