It's just an opinion, but my opinion is that Obama is a better choce than Hillary. I base this on a couple of comments by Obama and what I've seen in general.
It touches me when people are victims of gun violence because it has touched my life. As a result, I educated myself about guns a long time ago. There is a loophole in federal law that allows people to buy and sell guns out of their personal collections. It has been exploited by people buying and selling guns at shows for many years. In short, anyone who wants a gun can buy one without a background check or any record of the sale. Obama is the only candidate I've ever heard mention this loophole and say that it should be closed. I'm sure the woman in my hometown, who was enjoying a summer festival with her longtime husband when he was shot in the head by gang members, will agree the law must be modified. As it stands, I've seen minors purchasing guns at shows. Anyone who tells you this is not possible is not telling the truth.
Obama also said something like: "YOu can tell the lobbyists that if I'm elected it's not business as usual in Washington." We can no longer allow business and special interest lobbies to write the rule books we live by. Agreements that open the door to countries with no respect for the environment, or workers, do not benefit anyone except the richand some investors, who seem to be playing monopoly without regard for the well-being of this planet, the people who live on it, or the future. What I've seen in America during my lifetime is the steady erosion of social responsibility. While Hillary is a far cry better than many of the leaders we've been betrayed by, I believe Obama will do far better than Hillary.
As an American, I urge you to support Obama's campaign and vote in the fall
