Yes the Fleshtones were one of the better bands to come out of new york during that time period. Two of my favorite titles by them are "i'm going to change my life" and " this house is empty"...oh yeah..."shadowline" was a great one too...not to mention "american beat".

Wow, flashback, I know I saw this at Irving Plaza, probably shortly after it was made, in some sort of festival context or other. I've never forgotten it. I always associated The Fleshtones with this amazing video but I never saw it again until now.
