You know, this is too damn much! Now the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT)is distributing those cold washclothes you can buy to cool yourself off. Sometimes (if you're spending money with them) people give them to you. But now TAT is distributing them for free. The towels are wrapped in plastic advertising TAT. But here's the rub: They are GBH/DMSO towels! GBH is the well-known date rape drug that knocks you out, and DMSO is a chemical that carries anything it's mixed with into the bloodstream of anyone who touches it.

TAT has been giving these towels to airport employees who pass them out to farang arriving in Bangkok. When the unsuspecting visitor arrives they are, essentially, knocked out, robbed for everything they have, then directed to the Western Union office to get airfare home, and a bribe to get out of the drug charge. Sometimes they leave them with their return ticket, but take watches and other personal belongings to pay the bribe

It was bad enough when I saw a farang father drowning in the Chiang Mai moat during Song Klan: A cop stood watching as the man's son cried in terror. Then the five-year-old reached in his small backpack, pulled out a piggy bank and handed it to the cop. The cop broke the bank, counted the change, then pulled the man's unconscious body from the moat. Another cop said something to the boy who pulled his father's wallet from the unconscious man's pocket, then handed it to another cop. The other cop then gave twenty baht to a disheveled, drunk katoey who looked diseased. The katoey performed CPR, but the man lost consciousness again when he awoke to see who had saved him, and how he was being saved. The gnarly, nasty, dirty, ugly, disguting katoey had begun resuscitation efforts in the man's groin region after he started breathing again. The cops laughed gleefully while the man's son looked on in confused horror.

The outrageous behavior of some tuk-tuk drivers should not go unnoticed by the international community. I'm talking about the existence of a small island (koh), not far from Koh Chang, and not so far from Bangkok. It is entirely inhabited by ladyboys, katoey, transvestites; but no post-op transexuals. There no artificially produced estrogen can stem the flow of testosterone. Yes, Koh Katoey is terrifying.

It begins when inebriated young men hit the streets of Bangkok, particulary Khaosan Road. There they take a tuk-tuk in which the driver offers them a Bangkok standard - the TAT Towel - a washcloth coated with the date rape drug mixed with another drug that takes it through the skin of the victim. Once unconscious, the victim is transported to a boat where other unconscious young men are delivered by unscrupulous tuk-tuk drivers. The boat then delivers these men to Koh Katoey!

Regaining consciousness, the victim's nightmare begins, as he is subjected to all manners of decadent behaviors, up to and including unauthorized sex change operations before being deported from KK to work in the Bangkok sex trade, or kept on the island as forced labor manufacturing TAT Towels. Those who have tried to escape are chased down the street by angry katoeys who throw their high heels at the victim. Young men who have made escape attempts are eaten, yes eaten! Indeed cannibaism is practiced on KK.
And what have the tourist police done? Well, they've joined in the feasts
